Tax preparation

Returns prepared by people who know your situation.

Every return is prepared and reviewed in-house by our own CPAs and Enrolled Agents. You'll work with the same people year after year.

What we prepare

This is the full list. If your return type isn't here, ask; the answer is often still yes.

  • Individual returns

Federal and California returns for individuals and families, including multi-state situations, equity compensation, rental property, and investment income.

  • Business returns

S corporations, partnerships, LLCs, C corporations, and sole proprietorships, prepared alongside the owner's personal return so the two fit together.

  • Expatriate returns

U.S. returns for Americans living and working abroad, including foreign income exclusions and credits. We don't prepare filings for other countries' tax authorities.

  • Trust returns

Fiduciary income tax returns for revocable and irrevocable trusts, coordinated with the beneficiaries' returns where we prepare those too.

  • Gift tax returns

Form 709 filings for lifetime gifts, including valuation coordination and tracking of the lifetime exemption.

  • Estate tax returns

Form 706 filings and the related income tax returns for estates, prepared in coordination with your attorney.

How it works

Simple on your end.

You share documents through our secure client portal, drop them at the office, or mail them in, whichever you prefer. We reach out with questions as we work, not in a flurry at the end. Once the return is ready, you review it, sign the authorization, and we file it.

Most of what we need, you already have. We'll send a short list so nothing gets missed.

Want us to prepare your returns this year?

Send a short note about your situation. We'll tell you what we'd need and what to expect.

No cost, no pressure, no obligation

What happens when you reach out

  1. You send a short note or call

A few sentences about your situation is plenty. You don't need to gather documents or know the right terminology.

  2. We get back to you

You'll hear from a member of our team, not an automated reply.

  3. We talk about whether we're a fit

The first conversation is free. We'll tell you plainly what we can help with and what it would look like to work together.
