Our history
Rooted here since 1976.
The firm began as three local practices, spent nine years inside a national organization, and came home. Through every chapter, the same people kept serving the same clients.
Davis & LeGate
Founded in the summer of 1976, with offices in Westlake Village and downtown Los Angeles.
Foster, Bounce & Gemberling
Founded in Thousand Oaks.
Joined American Express
Both practices were acquired by American Express Tax & Business Services and combined into one office.
A third practice merges in
The clients of Earl Mulford, a long-standing local CPA, found a new home with the firm.
Independent again
The partners bought the firm back. Foster, Griffith & Allen, Inc. has been partner-owned and locally run ever since.
